Update Spreadsheet Weekly: Brian will send emails with PayPal updates on cancelled memberships and new memberships. Make sure the number of accounts on spreadsheet is the same as active accounts on PayPal.
Google Calendar: Look through all courses and calendar events and make sure they're all on my Google Calendarand make sure there aren't things that shouldn't be there.
New Members: When you receive email notification of a new member (Basic Membership and Couples Membership), go into Aweber list "IJM sign ups" and see if they are on that list. If they are, go into their profile to "Last Follow Up Received" and select "Block from receiving follow-ups."
New IJM Subscribers: Check to see if they are already members on Basic Membership list or Couple's list. If they are, block them from receiving follow-ups.
New Members and Cancelled Memberships- Weekly: Send new members (Basic and Couples) an invite for the log-in. Delete cancelled members from the log-in.
Checking Member Emails- Monthly: Once per month, go into both Basic Membership List and Couples Membership List. Go to Manage Subscribers under Subscribers menu. Click "Undeliverable" on left side. Then add the condition: Stop Status - Is - Unsubscribed. Go through the names and see if anyone who is paying has accidentally become unsubscribed. If so, resubscribe them.
Website calendars updating: Update pages: Online Community (under “Community”), TOA Southwest, TOA Bay Area, Calendar
Indexes: Update both indexes with latest Weekly Torah and latest Membership Lessons Episode.
Facebook: Create Iyún Ayin events every week for upcoming Iyún Ayins and invite “friends” in “Tucson” area. Also, for special events in other locations such as Bay Area and other places, create events one month in advance. If in the Bay Area, invite Oakland friends. Boost events for around $10 (a little more or less is fine).
Lessons in Presence- Membership Teachings: Create “new post,” using another tab to see old post to copy things over and to see the format. Change episode number to the next number, and get rid of the other title words. Embed video or videos. At the bottom, after “More on …”, copy posts from past years "Weekly Torah," according to the Parshah. Put new membership teaching in the Index, and new Weekly Torah in the Parshah Index.
Booking: Send email to synagogues in Arizona, follow up every two weeks for two months. If they respond, make sure Brian follows up with them and books date. Put dates in calendars.
Free Advertising: Post all events on all the free advertising for Tucson and Bay Area. When event details change, remember to go back in and change them in all places.
Other Advertising: Work with Penny who is a graphic artist to get the following made: Bay Area ad for rack cards and newspapers, Tucson ad for rack cards and newspapers, and Online ad for various publications. Send Penny (and Brian) an email to get it started, and Brian will give Penny the texts. Once you get the PDFs for rack cards, have Tucson rack cards printed and distribute them to JCC and other places we will come up with. Send Bay Area rack cards to Laura. For published advertising, investigate the following: For the online ad: Jewish Ad Network. For Tucson, Arizona Jewish Post and Natural Awakenings. For Bay Area, J - Jewish News of Northern California and Common Ground. Get info, tell Brian, then implement what he decides. Make sure Brian follows through.
Other things, when there is time: Clean kitchen, laundry, backyard, organize bedroom closet (Brian's side, on the right), clean car.
